Equally versatile is the orchestra: as London’s main concert producer, it is also invested in innovative educational and social projects. Thus the LSO maintains a music training center and has its own record label – LSO Live. A wide audience is also reached through well-known film and video game recordings. The LSO has the Barbican in London as its home. The artistic director is Valery Gergiev, while Sir Colin Davis acts as president.
